Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actor and TV host. She's most famous as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her career in showbiz as a child. The actress was in lead roles in TV dramas as young when she was just 16. The audience was impressed by her performance as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated films that feature women. In the past, Alexandra has appeared in many noteworthy national and international projects.
